Photo Sessions
Kids Photographer in Copenhagen
Photographs of your children as they actually are — curious, giggly, shy, muddy, and everything in between.

I'm Lana, a children's and family photographer based in Ørestad, and I photograph kids all over Copenhagen — at home, outdoors, or in my small home studio. My style is simple: no stiff posing, no heavy retouching. Real expressions, carefully and gently edited, so the photos still look like your child ten years from now.

A photo session on your child's terms
Children don't perform on command — and the best photos happen when nobody asks them to. A kids session with me looks more like play than like a photo shoot: we take our time, follow your child's mood, and pause for snacks, breaks or a cuddle whenever needed. You're welcome to bring favourite toys or a change of clothes.
Before the session we talk it through by phone or in writing, so I know your child's age, temperament and what you're hoping for — photos for the wall, grandparents, or a birthday coming up.
My job is to be patient and ready for the moment the real smile arrives — it always does.

Where we shoot
Wherever your child is most at ease: at your home, outdoors — a favourite playground, Amager Strand, Fælledparken, or just your own street — or in my home studio in Ørestad, a calm, cozy space that works especially well for younger children in wet Copenhagen winters.
What it costs
A kids photo session is 800 kr — 1–1.5 hours at your home or an outdoor location, with a minimum of 20 edited photos included. Prefer the studio, or want the whole family in the frame? A studio session for up to 5 people is 1,000 kr.

Good to know
Questions parents ask
My child is shy — or can't sit still. Will this work?
Yes — those are my favourite clients. There's no “sit still and smile” here; we play, and I photograph what actually happens. Shy children usually forget the camera within twenty minutes.
What should my child wear?
Calm colours in natural materials photograph best; avoid big prints, text and neon. For cold outdoor sessions, think warm layers — wool and knitwear rather than a big winter jacket.
When do we get the photos?
You'll see a preview selection soon after the session; the full edited album is typically ready within two to three weeks, and never more than five.
Can parents and siblings join in?
Please do — some of the best pictures are the in-between moments with a parent. If you'd like the whole family properly in the photos, a family session is the better fit.
What if it rains?
Copenhagen weather is part of the charm — light rain rarely stops us, and puddles make great photos. If the weather is genuinely bad, we move to the studio, your home, or another day. I always confirm the day before.
